Episode 21: Serpenta's new dimension

Please welcome actress and all-around talented performer Jessica Bella to the Heroineburgh lineup. Starting in Episode 21, she'll be portraying the supervillainess Serpenta, causing trouble for the heroines of the Steel City.

For those who need to catch up, Serpenta is Dr. Sarah Pentini, a former herpetologist at the Pittsburgh Zoo who was fired for her illicit experiments with snake venom. On the night of the dark energy meteor explosion, she was trying the serum on herself, and the two elements combined to imbue her with snake powers: hypnosis, augmented speed and strength, heightened senses, and a venomous bite. She also acquired a cold and calculating reptilian attitude, resolving to use her powers for strictly selfish mercenary purposes, such as working for the greedy developer Mason Brick, or the vengeful villainess Industria.

Jessica will be an incredible asset to our cast. In addition to her performance talents, she hails from Indonesia, and is excited about
bringing the culturally Southeast Asian "Naagkanya" (snake woman) aspects to the character of Serpenta.

Catch up on the previous adventures of Serpenta in Episode 18 (played by Olivia) and Episode 9 (her origin episode, played by Sarah).
Serpenta also appears in Issue #1 of Heroineburgh Comics causing havoc on the Carnegie-Mellon campus. Download and order these
