The HERO (POV) lies on the rocky floor, paralyzed after an intense boss battle. The DARK LORD towers over them, eyes glowing with malicious glee. DARK LORD (Chuckles darkly) Did you really think your little team could stop me? You're nothing but a light snack! The DARK LORD steps forward. The camera tilts upward as he leans down, his face filling the entire frame. The DARK LORD opens his mouth abnormally wide, casting a massive shadow over the screen. The camera captures a dramatic MOUTH CAM angle, revealing a cavernous throat and a twitching uvula. [SFX: SQUISHY REVERBERATING THROAT GROWL] [SFX: CARTOONISH "CHOMP" SOUND EFFECT] The screen suddenly plunges into pitch blackness as the DARK LORD snaps his jaws shut, swallowing the camera whole. The screen remains black, completely cutting off the outside world. Only the muffled, echoing voice of the villain can be heard from above. [SFX: HEAVY, SQUISHING "GULP" WITH A DISTINCT SLURP] The HERO (POV) slides down a tight, slick passage.

INT. NEWTON'S WORKSHOP - DAY The workshop is a mess. Blueprints litter the floor. Steam vents hiss aggressively. NEWTON stands over a half-finished contraption. His left eye is violently twitching. Huge, comical beads of sweat fly off his head every time he moves. CLIVE walks in, holding a clipboard. He stops and stares at Newton. CLIVE Newton? Old chap? You look a bit... unhinged today. Newton freezes. He does not turn around. His hands shake violently. CLIVE (CONT'D) Your calendar is completely clear for the afternoon. I thought you'd be resting. What is wrong? Newton slowly spins around. His eyes are wide, glassy, and completely hollow. He stares right through Clive. NEWTON (Monotone, whispering) The gears... they won't align, Clive. If they don't align, the sky falls. Everything falls. CLIVE (Stepping back) Right. Well. Perhaps a cup of tea? You are sweating buckets, my boy. Newton suddenly clutches his stomach.
