Busy working, busy knitting/crocheting, and busy trying to stay cool.
100F/37C on most days since the beginning of the month, plus high humidity levels. Everything is dead/dying and we've officially been declared a farming disaster zone. 0.09 inches of rain since June 1st. To put that in perspective, our normal average for July is 80F/26C and we should have averaged 8 inches of rain since June 1st. We've gotten a bit of pop up thunderstorm since I started typing this, but looking at the radar it's not likely to do much more than get the streets wet. I know I've never been so glad to see rain before.
