My Bio
We live on a hunk of rock and metal that circles a humdrum star that is one of 400 billion other stars that make up the Milky Way Galaxy which is one of billions of other galaxies which make up a universe which may be one of a very large number, perhaps an infinite number, of other universes. That is a perspective on human life and our culture that is well worth pondering.

I have a good camera again, and a constant excellent model. I don't have a huge amount of time for actually going through images right now but it feels so good to have a real camera back in my hands.

It was the year that I graduated with a second bachelors degree that I won't be using

Busy working, busy knitting/crocheting, and busy trying to stay cool. 100F/37C on most days since the beginning of the month, plus high humidity levels. Everything is dead/dying and we've officially been declared a farming disaster zone. 0.09 inches of rain since June 1st. To put that in perspective, our normal average for July is 80F/26C and we should have averaged 8 inches of rain since June 1st. We've gotten a bit of pop up thunderstorm since I started typing this, but looking at the radar it's not likely to do much more than get the streets wet. I know I've never been so glad to see rain before. The house buying is still in progress. We
