Well, you know a couple of months ago I had to take a break from commissions (and drawings in general) since college was starting again and it would be taking most of my time, leaving me no room for drawing almost anything.
However, now I need to temporarily return, because of this:
What the heck does this mean? Well, as you can see here, my hard drive disk started to show bad sectors, and basically, that means it's going to die, not now or in a couple of days, but "soon"; we don't get to exactly know when. Yeah, it's just 24 bad sectors from almost 2 billion but, still, that's not a good sign, that always means it's going to eventually fail.
Don't worry, this time I have a full backup of all my important stuff, but I don't want to spend time in that long and tedious process of reinstalling Windows and Linux, setting the machine up, and reinstalling everything from scratch, since I use this computer for a lot of college stuff, that's time I don't have to lose.
So, for avoiding a few headaches, I'll have to open a space on my spare time to try to get a new hard drive as soon as I can, and for that, today I'm going to open a few commission slots!
You probably know how commissions work with me, if you don't, oh well, basically I don't have a defined price sheet, I prefer to put a price to every commission according to what does it contain or how difficult it can be. There's a quick guide about that, and about the stuff I can and CANNOT draw in this other journal, please check it out:
A small announcement about commishsesHey there! Well basically, starting May 1st, the prices on my commissions will have to be risen-- reasons, there are several, but mainly it's because I've had the same prices for three years already, and things are getting more expensive, hope you understand.
Since I still don't have defined a price sheet, I'll raise them this way:
Commissions between US$5 and US$10-14 are going to increase by US$2
Commissions between US$15 and US$24-29 are going to increase by US$5
Commissions from US$30 onwards are going to increase by US$10
Sketch commissions will still be ranging between US$2 and US$5
Prices for comics will still cost US$25 per page in standard paper size or US$30 for shadowed pages.
However, for now I won't be taking comic commissions, they take a lot o
And that's it! The goal is US$80, so for now, and due to my still little time to draw, I'll open just three commission slots, but if more arrive, I'll open a few more:
MAY BE TAKEN SOON
Just, please take note that I'm not talking a break from college, it still takes most of my day, so your commission may take a while, please have some patience.
EDIT: I already saved enough money for the drive and bought it; it should arrive in the next few weeks. However, because of the interest I saw on you about getting one, for now I'll be taking up to 5 commissions. Thank you guys so much for the support!
