Eun Mask (1936)

A mask once belonging to renowned paranormal investigator P. Boulton, worn to cover certain disfigurements  after an unfortunate encounter with an unknown entity in China. Modified from a ritual mask of indeterminant age, it has been augmented with a containment port housing a small Eun creature, which during the Professors career, proved of invaluable assistance in located and sensing the strength of preternatural emanations, and transferring  that information into the wearers mind via electrical impulses.




The mask was created using a cheap Paintball mask, using my usual technique of using brads for rivets. The copper plates are constructed from craft foam, the eye container is a slice of pvc pipe, while the creature is a taxidermy eye with tentacles made from plumbers putty, painted, then coated in epoxy resin.
