As a consequence of past events with the Mugen Tenshi Clan and others, the MIST decided it was time for a new chosen one for their experiments and, while watching the Dead or Alive 6 Tournament from afar, one of the fighters caught the eye of the responsible of the past clone that was created using Kasumi's DNA as a prototype (Phase-4), the fighter is Tina Armstrong. After days of taking a look at Tina's present and past performances via recordings of the Dead or Alive tournaments, they decided Tina was the chosen one for the next project Alpha, she had the necessary brute strenght and high potential of damage they were looking for in their Project Alpha Soldiers.
