Bug Issues
Bug Issues
We are aware of several fairly critical bugs concerning deviants and we are taking every step to make sure these are resolved as soon as possible. But you can help us get that done by doing a couple simple things for us.
Below will follow the three main issues we have been receiving reports on, so if you are experiencing anything relating to these, please list which ones, and info you can provide or links to specific examples. But please clearly list which one it is so we can sort through the replies easier which leads to us fixing them easier. The more examples and user names we can get on here the more we can go on.
Also, I would like to ask that you use this news article to post the issues to instead of the Help Desk. This makes it easier to find reports of different issues within the help desk.
Gallery Related Bugs
We are aware of a growing number of issues users are facing in relation to various gallery issues. Amongst those are newly submitted artw

Prints II Launch
Just in time for the holidays, we are happy to announce the launch of the first phase of the entirely new prints program. Much more is yet to come! Prints II is hand-crafted by pirates, code monkeys, and magical liopleurodons! We have new tools, new features, new functionality, new products, new prices, and well, a bunch more new stuff.
All users registered on deviantART are now Standard Print Account holders.
All users with a print account purchased before November 21, 2006 are now permanent Premium Print Account holders, and they do not have to pay the annual subscription fee that new premium accounts will require.
The new Standard Print Accounts are NOT the same as the Basic Prints Program, which has been discontinued. All deviations submitted as prints for the Basic Prints Program have been rejected and removed from all shops. You must resubmit.

Team Husar Wildlife Photography
Many of our users are familiar with the photography of Mike and Lisa Husar, who have been capturing unique wildlife images on film since 1993 when they formed Team Husar Wildlife Photography. The couple has had their award winning imagery featured in magazines, calendars, cards, and all manner of publications and they have been involved in education and conservation through their photography.
A quick visit to their website can inspire any artist, and that is where we here at deviantART have encountered a problem.
Amateur artists, beginners and photo manipulators often rely heavily on the work or professional photographers such as Mike and Lisa Husar- often directly using their photographs or reproducing their imagery in paint, pencil or other mediums. While such efforts might be a great way to sharpen your skills it unfortunately infringes on the rights of the photographer.
I’ve spoken with Mike Husar and in order to help him enforce his right to require licensing for the use of T

Design Is?
Okay, Basically on the web i've seen a couple of desktop picture designs which all include the words "design is...".
I believe the whole question about "design is" started around Jon hicks and shaun Inman, and that trigger a spark of curiousity. What do you as a community think design is.
For those that might be confused on the topic here are a few examples which have already been done:

Connect Globally...Groove Locally
The Global Community
It most likely does not need to be said, but deviantART is a global art community. Inclusive of people from all geographic locations that this complex series of tubes known as the Internet can reach and filled with people from all walks of life from those locations. deviantART is populated by artistic styles that span the map from the traditional painter to the manga artist, poet, graphic designer and beyond.
So now that we have spread this far as an all inclusive virtual artist community, what is the next step?
Global Connectivity
With a geolocation software available for a small fee, it is not too difficult to locate the general region where someone is living based off of their IP address. Your IP address is transmitted by your computer every time you access anything on the Internet from your computer. It’s very similar to telephone area codes and country codes. When you know a phone number you could probably run a google search and figure out
