Damascus blacksmith's knife

Hello

I made a little something for a friend on mine. :)
This one is a bit tricky.
Unfortunately at the end turned out that it required a bilet far bigger than I could make, so I made it like so: I forged a damascus bilet large enough for a normal knife and than I forge welded a piece of wrought iron sideways to the blade's tang, thus making the tang long enough, so I could make it curly.
So it's not made entirely of damascus, somewhere in the middle of the handle the damascus vanishes and iron takes its place completely.
