- Models extracted by nach77, edited by me (I sculpted her face and edited the texture of her head). I tried, at least. LOL
Shiala from Mass Effect belongs to Bioware. Do not forget the credits if you use this model, thank you!
- Note: The neck bones of the "Scientist" model are not working properly and I cannot fix them at the moment. Here you can see what happens if you pose these bones (which are 4 and not 2, as they should be): (x)  (x) (x) (x). Please, if you can help me fix them, it would be sooo appreciated.

Thank you to :iconlehira-rutherford: for testing the model for me, in case I didn't notice errors. :>

This is great hun :)

Just worked out the issue with the bones. If you load the model in blender. All you need to do then is select either the outfit or the head and change the Neck bone name in the vertex menu under data.

You have;

neck
Neck
neck1
Neck1

because one has capital N and the other does not this is why these two bones are working separately.

So on the head its the neck bone. So if you change it on the head just change neck > Neck and neck1 > Neck1 as well as changing the chest2 > Chest 2 that should resolve the issue.

Then you can delete the bones you don't need anymore. You can do this really easily now with the latest XPS blender import script. When you select the armature under the XPS menu on the left under Hide Bones it says Vertex Group. This will move any bones that don't have any vertexes assigned to them to the second bone layer. Which you can select on the right menu where it has all those boxes similar to when you change layer in the main part. Click on the second dot you see. Go into edit mode select all then press delete.

Then you will have a fixed issue and no extra unneeded bones :)

Looks very good to me, great work sculpting her face!

Not sure what's wrong with the neck bones in the scientist model without taking a look at the model itself... I'll take a look as soon as I can and let you know if I have any input to help you solve the problem. :)

Edit: ok, I can't explain exactly what's wrong, but I think the problem lies in that in the scientist model you have "added" the armature of Shiala's head model to the armature of the asari scientist model and each mesh retained its own neck bones. If that's what happened, you can either try to redo the meshmod work according to this tutorial by Padme4000 [link] (see the part about adding head to bodies in blender) or you can try this tutorial (NSFW) [link] to see if you can fix the current meshmod.

Thank you! :)

The problem is that part of the base of her neck isn't well rigged, so it goes through the collar mesh D: You'll see it yourself when you'll try and pose those 4 bones LOL Thank you for your availability! :D

No problem! ;) I did try the model in XPS (don't know if you have already read my "edit" to the previous comments, maybe my edit and your reply crossed each other, lol ) and I think those tutorials I linked above might be of help to solve the issue. :)

Oh, sorry! LOL
Yep, that is the problem. Once I tried Padme4000's tutorial but then I gave up because my pc is an ass, but I'll make another attempt for sure, with the help of the other tutorial you linked as well. Thank youvery much  for your time! :D
