Celts made anthropomorphic swords where the handle was shaped like a man.  My friend Nick Anger had the idea to make a gynomorphic sword, one shaped like a woman.  He had a blade for it, and asked me to make the handle - this is the result.  Call it a modern reinterpretation of the original celtic swords.  Interpret the symbolism as you see fit.  The handle is bronze, and the blade is one of Nick's crazy damascus patterns.  It's a fully functional sword - hardened, tempered, and carefully ground to the proper geometry.

Off topic, but Nick Anger is a hilariously excellent name for a blacksmith. Maybe Alex Steel eand him should team up, lol.
