Flash Sale, Life update + other things

Hi Deviantart! I haven't been too active here lately.
Hopefully I'll have the time to post all my recent works here soon. Meanwhile you can check out my tumblr, instagram and twitter where I'm more active.

I'm doing a flash sale in my shop which starts later today, I've got all sorts of new products there so check it out if you have the time.

I hardly ever talk about myself online so here's an update on my past year:

I was really busy with my university thesis project at the start of the year and actually rushed through the whole thing. I was quite set on what I wanted to do after school so I saw the project as hindrance and didn't want to invest any more of my time with it. I managed to finish my studies in Graphic Design(a year late though) and graduated this summer. I'm quite proud of the things that I accomplished and learned during my school years, and will greatly miss all the nice people and the overall atmosphere of my school. During the year I visited a whole 15 artist alleys! 12 in Finland, one in Sweden and I even visited my first conventions outside of Nordic countries: TCAF in Toronto and Design Festa at Tokyo. I made many new friends and met amazingly talented and lovely people and was also part of many interesting and exciting projects. I want to say thanks to everyone who came to say hello and who supported me at conventions or online through my shop. Your support means a great deal to me! I was really excited to try new things with my illustrations and had a great time designing new products such as the enamel pins which I'll surely be making also in future. I had a lovely relaxing summer and used the free time to get inspired again. This autumn I started working full-time on my own art. I applied for a startup grant which I was granted later in autumn. I was really excited how things were going but then there was a sudden severe illness in my close family. I'm hoping everything will be fine now. All though I'm really glad that I got the chance to distract myself with Inktober illustrations, which I'm also super proud I managed to finish this year and was extremely satisfied with the quality of my work. I'm hoping to have the time to post all my inktober works here in near future. I'm now more certain than ever how I want to develop my style in future and what kind of things I want to make. I am hoping to be part of great things also in 2017.
