Plot:
In the town of Modesto, California, Leopold Slikk, a young German teenager, tries to escape from his mean father and find a safe place, only to find himself stalked by a mysterious voice on the phone, and then be swiftly violently killed by a myterious cloaked stranger wearing a demonic horned mask. The next day, panic breaks out amongst the town of Modesto, as the cloaked killer continues to target more and more people, displaying an affinity for classic horror movies in staging his stalking and murdering sessions. Lucia Nanami, a Mermaid Princess who has since settled into the town of Modesto, becomes the masked killer's primary target as the masked killer, known to many as 'Hyuza', begins to stalk and kill each of her friends one by one, as they all fight to save their lives. At the same time, reporter Mei Momozono investigates the killings with the help of the Nostalgia Critic, who has become the town's cop, convinced that the deaths are each linked to Nanami and a few other's pasts.
