After discovering the beta status, browser based RPG hosting platform, Fabletop, the guys at Brikwars have been putting time into it, hosting some awesome Fantasy and Sci-Fi sessions.

I'm working on the Fantasy one, but last night's Sci-Fi really inspired me. The party consisted of "slightly" generic characters, mainly the 40K related ones. This is my take on their looks, but their class pretty much nails it.

Quicky, 45min - 1hour, PS CS4

Glad you like it! And yes, it was. The awesome thing about FT is that it is so simple, you can pretty much picture and interpret the encounters and characters any way you want. This said, I can't wait to start working on the Fantasy party being GM'ed by Ross :)

Probably. Mgb wants me to widen it to fit more characters, so you, along with anyone who decides to join, might have a place here.

I didn't know you guys were on DA, too.
Maybe I should upload the picture I drew of the ORK!-party for the forum game. But without tablet it is a pain to scan and edit the image.

I made a thread in the Artwork forum called Deviant Brikwarriors, so we could all find each other there...

Go for it man, procrastination and laziness are the biggest nemesis around here :P

Do you use a tablet? If so, what are they like, and how much did it cost? I wouldn't mind being able to draw onto my computer.

I do. I have a Wacom Bamboo, costed me 100€. A bit expensive but you have different types and sizes depending on what you want to do. It is nearly mandatory to the digital artist to have a tablet since you have all the powers of drawing, painting and whatever else you could IRL or with a mouse but into a simple pen. Pretty much every famous artist around here (DA) uses a tablet.

In the end and like all things, it pays up if you use it and enjoy doing so.
