Howdy! We're opening applications for a curio guest design event!

It's a chance to design a curio which will then be sold in a batch in July. It will also be different from previous sales in that it's an auction--read on to learn more!

While this will be our first guest designer auction, you can see a few of our previous flaffle guest batches below:

Spots are extremely limited this round, and are not first-come-first-served. Anyone who meets the requirements (listed below) is welcome to apply!

If you were a guest designer for curios in the past, you are welcome to apply for this batch as well! If you've applied in the past and were not accepted, you are welcome to apply again! Please read ALL information below before applying!

Requirements for Application:

• Must be willing and able to finish a clean, coloured, full body design by Nov 18th, 2024.

• Must have completed at least one ARPG entry.

• Must provide at least 3 examples of previous character designs (can be your own characters, adoptables, customs, or guest designs from other groups).

• Must provide at least 1 example of an approved curio design (MYO or guest). This can overlap with your other design examples.

• Must join or be an existing member of the Discord. (Participation in the regular Discord channels is not required, but all communication will be happening via the dedicated Guest Artist channels there.)

• Must have a deviantART or Toyhouse account older than 1 month.

• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a PayPal account.

Slots for guest designers will be limited, so please understand if you're not chosen. Please also don't apply unless you are absolutely sure that you can get your design completed by or before the deadline. There will be more guest design opportunities in the future so it's okay to miss this one!

Design Information

• Designs must fit all curio anatomy requirements.

• Designers may make a standard curio or any subspecies.

• Designers may use any traits freely, including all Mutations, Divines, Crafting, and Vessel Sets. There is no limit on number of traits!

• Designers may include pets, mounts, and/or weapons.

• Designs must be SFW and appropriate for the group setting.

• Designs may be clothed or unclothed; clothed designs do not require an unclothed version.

• Designers may NOT have someone else purchase their design on their behalf.

• If unable to complete their design, a designer MUST notify us as soon as possible!

The theme for this set will be.... Free-form!

There is no particular prompt for these designs, go nuts!

Applications will close Oct 20th, 11:59pm EST, and those chosen will be contacted via DM. Once you've all joined the guest designer channel on discord a further timeline will be given, and finished designs will be expected by Nov 18th at the latest. The full set will be posted for auction shortly after. Designers will receive 100% of the payment!

Greetings and salutations! You'll never guess what extremely predictable seasonal event is on the horizon hehe....

Are you ready for Halloween Advent season? I sure am. Well, except for one little thing--where to hold the darn thing!!

I've taken polls on this in the past, but a lot has changed and I want to make sure I'm in the right spot for everyone who wants to participate. So, here's the options, the usual suspects with a new addition:

DEVIANTART

Pros: held it here for several years, live comments, yay big image

Cons: many people have quit DA, balancing public and private claims

TOYHOUSE

Pros: advent started here, live comments, people use this

Cons: less visible to new people, requires code to sign up (I can provide these), balancing public and private claims

GOOGLE FORMS (as in, you claim via a form and whoever claims first gets it)

Pros: doesn't require a specific site, public and private claims in one place, less stressful for me personally lol

Cons: no live comments, process requires extra explanation, Change Is Scary

OTHER
