This is a city that was chosen as the provisional capital city of Yemen, a country tarnished by war, famine, poverty, unemployment, corruption, disease and death, a country in desperate need for humanitarian aid, a country one could call “Hell on Earth”. Yet despite all the chaos that plunged the country, there are always moments of joy and celebration that spring up, which although rare, offer it’s citizens a way to forget about some of their problems, as well as giving them some hope for a better future. It was precisely in the most famous indoor arena of this city that it was decided to hold this year's edition of the Ms. Yemeni contest, considered the most significant Women’s Bodybuilding title in Yemen. In a perfect world, where women have the same freedom as men to follow their own paths and dreams without being judged, the female portion of the unpopular sport known as Bodybuilding is just as respected and admired as it’s male counterpart, by both men and women.
Therefore, the Bodybuilding Committees of all 206 sovereign countries within the United Nations (UN) membership system have dedicated their time and effort to bring their absolute best Female Bodybuilders that have already proven themselves by winning multiple major titles in their respective countrie
