OTP: Charlie Brown and Heather Wold

Those of you who have been following me or my fanfiction know full well why this ship is my all-time favorite, so here's a simplified explanation for the newbies. Heather is such a soft, sweet, and caring girl, and she is perhaps the one girl who truly appreciates Charlie Brown for who he is. Furthermore, she is the kind of person CB could have in his life to build him up and make him happy and whole. You all know that this is something poor Charlie Brown really needs in his life.

Most Liked Pairing: Linus Van Pelt x Janice Emmons

Linus was really dedicated to Janice when she was suffering from Leukemia. He was supportive of her, and Janice herself is such a strong and mature-for-her-age character. In fact, both she and Linus are, which is another reason why I ship these two. The fact that they both have an emotional maturity greater than their age helps their personalities mesh together.

Cute and Innocent Pairing: Snoopy x Fifi

Not much to say about it really. It just has a cute feel to it, and I like the redesign to Fifi to make her look more like a dog you could ship with the humorous beagle author.

Most Neutral Pairing: Charlie Brown and Marcie Carlin

I don't know what to think of this pairing to be honest. I feel like it has some potential; Marcie isn't nearly as bad to CB as some of the other characters. But then there's that time where Marcie kicked CB in the shins (twice) for no good reason. I'm honestly just not sure how she and Charlie Brown would do if they were together.

Most Disliked Pairing: Lucy Van Pelt x Schroeder

Sure, the gimmick behind the ship is kinda entertaining, but the ship to me doesn't hold up at all under scrutiny. For starters, I'm on the firm belief that the true proper girl for Schroeder would love Beethoven just as much as he did. Clearly, Lucy couldn't care less about the composer, and I question if Lucy even has any respect for Schroeder's interest in Beethoven. She just cares about herself.

Non-OTP: Charlie Brown and Lucy Van Pelt

I was gonna put CB and Violet here, but I decided on CB and Lucy because it's no better, and it's more mainstream. Why, guys? Why does anyone think Lucy would be a good fit for CB? You don't think that in a real world scenario, Lucy's treatment of Charlie Brown wouldn't potentially result in poor CB needing therapy or something? Give me a break!

BROTP: Snoopy x Woodstock

The Beagle and Bird Bros. Enough said. There need not be a explanation to this duo in my opinion.

Guilty Pleasure Pairing: Patty Swanson x Pig-Pen

Only in the Peanuts Movie though. The comic version of the ship can eat pencil shavings. I know that Patty Swanson is technically supposed to be one of the "mean girls", but seeing this pairing play out in the Peanuts Movie makes her much more redeemable as a character in my eyes than Violet Gray. I reckon it must take a special kind of heart to take a liking to someone who is always so filthy-looking.

Just Friends: Sally Brown x Linus Van Pelt

Oh, here we go. This is gonna ruffle a few feathers. Even though I don't ship this romantically, despite the humorousness of the ship, I do have to give credit to the fact that Linus and Sally actually do at least spend a lot of time together. And when Sally isn't annoying Linus by making her advances on him, they seem like they get along for the most part, hence why I accept them as friends.

Favorite Crack Pairing: Schroeder x Heather Wold

Not romantically though. I ship them as a BROTP who bonds by spending time together honing their crafts (Schroeder with his classical music and Heather, who dances to classical music). I know that technically the two have never met, but in my fanfic for CB x TLRHG, Schroeder and Heather perform a talent show act together, and they're good friends through the time they spend practicing together.

Most Overrated Pairing: Charlie Brown x Peppermint Patty

This is the most popular ship involving CB and I don't know why. In all honesty, I don't find CB and PP's friendship to be that much better than CB and Lucy's. It's obviously not quite as bad, but PP can get quite brash with him or needlessly frustrated with him. Her bragging to CB about how much better she is at baseball than him doesn't help her case either. If she ever learns to care more about CB's feelings (like Heather does), then maybe my opinion on this ship will change.

Most Underrated Pairing: Charlie Brown x Emily

If I couldn't ship CB with Heather, then CB x Emily would take over as OTP. Little is known about Emily, but in the few scenes that she was in, Charlie Brown was always happy. There was never any negative moments between the two, and like with Heather, Emily seems to like the kind of person Charlie Brown is.
