While I cannot reply to the majority of the comments I receive, I do I appreciate and read all of them. Thank you for your support! I am much more interactive on my Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/HeatherCosplay
The first con that I attended was AWA '96. I cosplayed as 'Devil Hunter Yohko' and had a wonderful time! By '98 I was competing in masquerades at Master level, & was extremely fortunate to work as a booth model for several companies. In 2000 the CEO of SyCoNet Productions asked me to be the company's spokesmodel, which was AWESOME!!! I met Jason (my husband) at DragonCon '00. He had been working in the American Comics field for several years, and encouraged me to pursue a career as a colorist. I took time-off from cosplay to concentrate on my career and family life, but still attended conventions regularly as an artist. Years passed, and I thought that I was done with cosplay. Then an old friend asked me to break out some of my costumes for NDK '07. I agreed, and before I knew it, I was hooked again!
Currently I live in CO with my husband Jason, and our son Jathen. At conventions, you can usually find me at the MartinArt Studio booth selling art prints and other goodies.
I like your Supergirl cosplay the best, you look like you just stepped out of a comic.
