⛄️ Happy Holidays 2018! ⛄️
I've created cosplay outfits based on lots of different things (i.e., anime, video games, manga, cartoons, comics, television shows, mascot designs, movies, original artwork, mythical creatures, ancient deities, and probably some other stuff that I'm forgetting about at the moment). However I believe this is my first time cosplaying as a character from a commercial!
Who remembers the Coca-Cola Polar Bears?
I have used faux fur in SO MANY (over 30) of my costumes over the years. I'm a big fan of the stuff.
Here's a new image of my Faun costume, which is my most recent cosplay that incorporates faux fur.
Dawn: the turning of the page between night and day.
I don't consider myself a morning person by any stretch of the imagination....but sometimes it's worth it to wake up early and catch the sunrise.

In celebration of the Pokemon Go Community Day event here's a new pic from my Pokemon Go Trainer shoot earlier this year.
I have managed to catch a lot of cool things since the event began, but so far I've only gotten one event shiny. It's a Cyndaquil that wandered by my house at 1:30 this morning. Have any of my fellow trainers caught any really good event pokemon?

Due to my schedule, I cannot reply to the majority of the comments I receive. But I just want you guys to know that I appreciate and read EVERY single one of them. And that my lack of response on here is not to disrespect you in any way. Thank you for your support.
The first con that I attended was AWA '96. I cosplayed as 'Devil Hunter Yohko' and had a wonderful time! By '98 I was competing in masquerades at Master level, & was extremely fortunate to work as a booth model for several companies. In 2000 the CEO of SyCoNet Productions asked me to be the company's spokesmodel, which was AWESOME!!! I met Jason (my husband) at DragonCon '00. He had been working in the American Comics field for several years, and encouraged me to pursue a career as a colorist. I took time-off from cosplay to concentrate on my career and family life, but still attended conventions regularly as an artist. Years passed, and I thought that I was done with cosplay. Then an old friend asked me to break out some of my costumes for NDK '07. I agreed, and before I knew it, I was hooked again!
Currently I live in CO with my husband Jason, and our son Jathen. At conventions, you can usually find me at the MartinArt Studio booth selling art prints and other goodies.
