Hey Ya'll!
I hope you enjoyed our most recent podcast! I have been pretty swamped with work but I'll be posting some fun stuff soon. Big Hugs!!
I would eat it!
Oh...Hell...No
As Dedicated as we are to our practice, there will always be those days that feel incredibly overwhelming.
A series of unfortunate events.
A combination of annoying incidents.
Sleepless nights.
The important thing to remember is, although it may feel as though everything is crumbling in that moment.
It is only temporary.
Take a moment to breathe.
Take out your pen, pencil, brush or whatever you want to use to create.
Doodle, paint, cry, scream, laugh...
Feel whatever needs to be felt.
Take comfort in the fact that nothing lasts forever, whether or not it is good or bad.
Take Pride in the fact that you created something today (even if it is just a circle, it's your circle)
Look at yourself in the mirror and celebrate both the success and failures of the day, because we learn everything from experiences in life...
There are times where you may feel very self conscious about your art work, your projects, you doodles.
I notice that artists that I interact with daily have a tendency to belittle their art work.
Try not to do that...
It is ok to be critical of your work, but remember to be kind as well.
Your critiques to yourself and to others should come from a place of love and encouragement.
Be Kind to yourself
Be Kind to Others
Love your art
Nothing in life is perfect. Remember you can always improve! Your art will get better with practice.
So be kind to yourself....because you are amazing.
