Part of an Ignis playing card set I'm going to be working on. I tried to stick to a yellow, red-blue (and consequently purple) colour scheme to match the usual primary colours associated with children. The star theme was inspired by Ignis and Noctis' interest in astronomy as children :aww: (as an actual astronomer, I couldn't not do a star/space themed card !) I was imagining Noct and Iggy playing dress-up and Ignis having a turn at being King :XD:

Sexy grown man playing dress up.  Me like. :)

I'm playing FF X now.  Maybe someday I'll pick up FF XV!  You make me want to with your art.

 ! This is supposed to be him as a kid, but he does look pretty much older than expected in all of the official art at younger ages, so I'm glad I pulled that off :lmao: I'm doing different ages for the suits - should be fun, but also hopefully a way to improve my shortcomings (younger people and non-shaky lineart :crying: ) And oh great! How are you liking it? X is probably the best place to start actually :)

Oh I see now.  I'm looking forward to more art of him.

I'm loving FF X!  I picked it up when I was young but never finished it.  I think I was too young and stupid to properly appreciated it.... and like now if I get stuck on a battle for long periods, I kind of give up (Especially in RPGs = I could never play Souls or Bloodbourne).  But no problems so far.

I will admit, I did love it when I first played it (I was already deep into FF by then so it was too late for me :XD: ) but when I replayed it the other year I realised that it was actually even *better*, which is rare for games from my childhood that I've played again as an adult. At least I didn't fall victim to the same annoying boss battle I was stuck at half way in the game though  Though that's probably because on my first play through I'd sent everyone the wrong way on the grid *facepalm*

I know right?  It's awesome.  When I was 10 I got stuck on Seymore's first form.  Haven't gotten there yet but hoping it'll be a little easier with more intellect and leveling up properly.  I know I did the same, I was all over the grid.  :iconfacepalmplz:

LOL glad I'm not the only one :lmao: Life experience in general seems to make us better gamers, so I'm sure you'll be fine. I was surprised at how easy I breezed through Spyro 1-3 10+ years later with a nicer PS controller.

Yeah... especially if you been playing forever.  I've pretty much memorized Zelda OoT so it's so easy I never die (though it's a easy-ish game imo) and I don't get lost.  But  it's also easier to understand games that were once troublesome, as you say.

Did you play the new PS4 Spyro trilogy?  or The PS1 Trilogy?

Recently, I played the new Reignited trilogy on PS4. I figured my ability to not get so stuck on those flight levels was probably due to increased patience as an adult and skill on the console more than say, differences to the game, since they pretty much cloned the game. It handled so similarly, I would get stuck on the exact same jumps and glides as on the PS1  Very fun. <3
