Steering the Argo

"Shut up, Taylor. Vincent, why does Justin keep her around?" Jason complained, looping Sudoku's reins over his arm while he buckled his helmet. "She makes the most horrible jokes..."

"You ARE Greek," Taylor reasoned cheerfully, patting the mare's neck. Vincent rolled his eyes at the two and trusted them to not screw up right before Sue's first show in two years. 

"That doesn't make Sudoku the Argo," Jason persisted stubbornly, scowling. "Besides, the Argo would have been made out of wood from trees native to the area. The ship would have been brown! Amontillado or Flash would have made a better ship for the high seas, get your facts straight!"

"Aww, our little bookworm is growing up," she cooed, patting Jason's cheek. 

"Enough," Vincent sighed, cupping his hands to give Jason a leg up. "Remember since Debutante and her brother, Sudoku's been veering off from the middle of the jump. You'll need to make sure you steer her towards the middle-- don't let her cut towards the middle or scrape you on the side."
