Ribbon Disabler for Windows 8 provides the way to disable Ribbon in Windows Explorer with one click.
You can restore it with one click too.
It was created for those who do not like Ribbon UI.
Ribbon Disabler v2
- keeps your wordpad and paint working
- supports both x86 and x64 versions of Windows 8
- has easy to use UI.

The "Tool" bar in explorer, useful to some but not in theming and I never use it anyways.

I'm confused as to why this program was needed when it is already built into Windows 8. While in File Explorer, click on the Customize Quick Access Toolbar, and select Minimize the Ribbon to minimize it. Or deselect it to show the Ribbon.

People wanted to have Windows 7 look >.<. Just minimizing the ribbon doesn't make it disappear fully. Neither makes Organize menu come back.

This app has a little bug..
When you disable the ribbon bar, appears the menu under the title bar of the folders and isn't removable

Don't know why, but it trashes my system... Explorer.exe won't start anymore.
Luckily I know how to repair stuff.
Any ideas why this happens?

Отваливается, зараза. 8-ка простояла пару дней, но за это время несколько раз пришлось отключать ленту.

The ribbon is gone but back comes the command bar.
Maybe you can integrate a command bar disabler into the tool as well?
