First Nightmare Night

"Are you two having fun?", asked Twilight with a smile to Windy Belle and her daughter Starchaser.

Windy simply nodded with a big grin while Starchaser jumped excitedly, almost dropping the candy she had in her pumpkin bag. "Yeah! Nightmare Night is my favorite day now!"

"I'm guessing it's for the same reason as Pinkie's. For the free candy.", Rainbow chuckled as saw the said woman running to them with a big grin on her face.

"Girls! That house over there is giving away big chocolate bars! Big! Chocolate! Bars!", Pinkie almost screamed eagerly to the group and the two little girls gasped in surprise with a gleam in their eyes. Twilight rolled her eyes at Pinkie's behavior but with a smile still present on her lips.

"Well, let's go there then, before they give them all away.", as soon as the princess said that Pinkie gave their daughter a piggyback ride and ran off to the house down the street. Windy just pulled her mother's hand so they could catch up with Pinkie Pie. Twilight chuckled for herself and simply walked after them at her own pace.

As Twilight approached the group in front of the house they were already coming back to her, showing off the chocolate bars with big goofy smiles. "Aunt Twilight, look at this! It can last for a week!", Windy rushed over to her with the chocolate in hand.

"Not mine!", giggled Star, "I'm gonna eat it tonight!", she said jumping happily around. Pinkie gasped and joined her daughter, "Me too! It looks so good to make it last a whole week!"

"Oh no, you're not. Neither of you.", Twilight disapproved with a serious tone to both her wife and child, "I'm not going to deal with another candy crisis like last year.". As she said those last words her eyes were focused on Pinkie, clearly the culprit of such past event. Pinkie in return just let out a "Oh, right. That.", and stopped jumping.

Rainbow Dash laughed for a bit at the silly quarrel between her friends until Twilight turned her glare to her. "Ahem! Anyway, where to next?", Rainbow changed the subject while looking around the street.
Windy suddenly pulled her mother's hand eagerly to call for her attention, "Mom! Mom! We got to take pictures to show Mommy and Harmony!"

"Oh damn! That's right!", Rainbow suddenly slapped her own forehead, "I forgot that we promised to take some pictures to show 'Shy!"

This time it was Pinkie Pie who laughed at her friend's forgetfulness. Even when the rainbow haired woman glared at her she still laughed.

Twilight chuckled and took the camera from her bag, "Well, I didn't forget. For some reason Fluttershy handed the camera to me."
Rainbow breathed in relief as saw the camera in her friend's hands, while her daughter and Starchaser tried to hide a laugh.

"Alright then. Windy Belle, Starchaser, get closer so I can take a photo with you both.", Twilight gestured for her daughter to move close to her best friend.

Twilight prepared to take a picture and Pinkie suddenly grinned, "Say 'candyyyyyy'!"

Windy made a big grin while Star smiled showing off her candy bag, "Candyyyy!", as they said the word the flash went off and the picture was taken.

I felt like drawing something for Halloween this year and suddenly hit me the idea of drawing Windy Belle and Starchaser in their first Nightmare Night. Didn't want to add any text but then got carried away for a bit.

Windy and Star were 6 and 5 when went out for their first Nightmare Night. Windy dressed up as the Grim Reaper, mostly because she wanted to paint her face. And Star dressed up as a Crazy Scientist. Accompanied by Rainbow, Twilight and Pinkie. Fluttershy stayed at home with Harmony, who was still months old, and Rarity was there with them because Applejack was busy with the Apple family's Nightmare maze.
