HayleyWolf:
Shine's nostrils were flared and she trotted down the haunted trail, neck arched and tail flagging with nervousness. She wasn't so happy about this trail at all. Even though she was going down it with her son, Tanatos, she was still very on edge. Rayma kept her reins held tightly in her hands, fearing she might bolt. “I don't think Shine likes this very much.” She laughed, looking over at Lumpkin and Tanatos. Lumpkin was so strange… Rayma wasn't so sure what to think of her. She was a little odd. Rayma wasn't entirely convinced that that pumpkin head was a costume…
Toilet paper fluttered in the trees, which Shine apparently considered to be quite ominous. The wolf sort doe snorted loudly, rearing and lurching forwards dramatically. Actually, the doe didn't seem scared. She seemed angry! Rayma let out a yelp, digging her free hand into Shine’s mane and hanging onto the reins tightly with the other. “Calm down!” She snapped at the doe hatefully, getting tired of Shine's antics.
Halloweendonkey:
Tanatos wasn’t as pissed as his grandmother to be there. In fact, he even seemed really enjoy the haunted trail. Each movement made him jump like crazy, but the gleam in his eyes couldn’t lie! He really liked it! Maybe his lack of physical sensibility made him research mental excitation, lumpkin couldn’t really tell. She had hard time to restrain the excitation of the young stag and never stopped to pull on the rein to stop him to run in the trees. His legs had been covered by a thick layer of bandages, making him look like a mommy, to protect him from any injury he could do to himself without realise.
The pumpkin headed girl looked at Rayma, a large smile on the lips. It was difficult to say if it was her eternal smile or if she was really happy thought. “Do you need help?” It was difficult to enjoy the trail with the doe throwing a tantrum all the way. Tanatos didn’t looked be so disturbed, but it kinda broke the atmosphere. A flight of bats slipped between the fawnlings legs, making the stripped boy rear and scream happily, at least one looked happy to be there.
HayleyWolf:
“Nahh, she'll settle down in a second!” Rayma called back to the other woman and Shine proved her point by touching her forelegs back down upon the ground. Snorting and shaking her head, the doe fell back in line with her grandson. “She's more pissed that I'm making her do this than she is scared, I think.” Rayma laughed. Shine snorted in response, ears slicked against her skull. When the bats came flying out it started a whole new fit.
Bleating dramatically, Shine hauled herself forwards and began to buck, heels flashing towards the sky. Tanatos better be careful or he'd be caught in the crossfire! Shine was fighting mad, pissed at the bats that swarmed her and her grandson. Bellowing in rage, she lashed out at the winged creatures again. Rayma wasn't able to hold on as she bucked the last time. The young woman suddenly found herself in the dirt.
Halloweendonkey:
Shine was really impossible to hold, becoming an attraction of the trail by herself, a real demon ! Poor Rayma was sent into the dust, and Lumpkin felt bad for her. They were supposed have fun, not to be hurt! “SHINE, ENOUGH!” Her voice was loud and creepy, as if coming from a grave. She didn’t knew if the doe would react, but she had to try or someone would be injured, and she feared it would be Tanatos. The poor stag was unable to feel if he was hurt, and he could be able to finish the trail bleeding without even realise it.
Jumping from his back she went help Rayma, being careful to not bump her with her big head. “Are you ok?” Tanatos kept watching between the trees, jumping happily at the smallest scary detail, pulling on toilet paper hanging from trees to make night animals flee the foliage. The pumpkin head sighed, at least one had understand the interested of a haunted trail! Maybe he was even enjoying it a little too much, but she couldn’t blame him. Kept inside most part of time he was used to go out mostly by night, and didn’t feared creepy things. He came from the Dark Night stable after all! There wasn't so much that would intimidate the young stag. The hosts of this competition would have to try harder!
HayleyWolf:
Shine reacted immediately when Lumpkin yelled at her by coming to an abrupt halt and staring at the pumpkin-headed handler with wide eyes. It seemed that Tanatos was okay, fortunately. He didn't seem to be cut up and was still playing with some of the accessories that were strategically placed along the trail. Rayma blinked a bit drowsily, brain still trying to register what had happened. Lumpkin was worried, asking her if she was okay.
“Yeah, I'm fine.” She stated as she picked herself back up to her feet, brushing off some dirt. “Thanks!” She exclaimed appreciatively, making her way back to Shine. The lilac doe snorted at her ominously, but Rayma showed no fear as she swung back up into the saddle. The rest of the ride went smoothly; never again did Shine act up. Lumpkin had obviously scared her straight!
