I was born in 1965. I was raised on the East Coast by a caring mother and father who oversaw my general health and happiness as a youth.I remember summers. Rich with pollen floating in the air, flowers blooming, bees buzzing. Fresh cut grass somewhere in the distance. I remember running through fields while I waited for my father to come home from work. To this day I cannot recall his profession. I would greet him upon his arrival and his smile was warm, if beaten. Not in the sense of a physical fight, but more along the lines of a hard days work.
