In the beginning I was a little bit disappointed about the lack of clouds at the horizon. You know, getting up early in the morning, looking at the sky and then driving to the beach. But when I was at the beach there was this silence and the orange color, very peaceful

Regarding the pillars you might be right. I have another one where I zoomed out a littlebit. But after comparing both pictures I have choosen this one. Probably I could upload the other one too and you can give me your opinion, Birger.

You are right regarding the sun but the sun was too far on the right. If I would have included it, the pillars would have been out of the angle.

Regarding the seagull I was really unlucky, staying there for nearly one hour in the freezing cold and the gull was not moving in the right direction. Or if she did, she was moving too much and the picture was not sharp enough. Photographer's life!
