This book was an amazing and and thrilling read. This book gave me the thrill similar to one of my favorites An Ember in the Ashes. I have been reading it every night for a few days till my eyes are heavy and I have to stop. Alwyn has created a new world of mythical creators in a sand filled land of blood and steel. Causing you to get hooked around every twist and turn to the plot. I was hooked just by reading the book's description and I am so glad I was. After it is over you will, like every other good book, be wanting more and hopefully the sequel will be out soon. Enjoy

I started reading this book after it was featured on Epicbooks.com. Me being always welcome to new reads, although I have issues not finishing me favorite reads, I plan on finishing this one in the next few days. I have already fallen in love with the dark yet romantic feel to this book. Getting pulled into the world of 1900's asylums and murder scenes . I do hope that my favorite love interest get together by the end and that Grace will have a very happy life.
