I found the inclusion of the IdesFormula to be particularly challenging. It seemed huge and messy and yielded a lot of unpleasantries. I started from scratch at least 10 different nights before finally stumbling onto this. Nine nights I went to bed exhausted and quite frustrated. I did note along the way that IdesFormula by itself can yield some pretty interesting results. I will have to scour back through my history to dig up some of them. I also found that mixing it with Menger3 and Amazing Box was a challenge, especially because I never use Menger3. One thing that I like to do in almost every MB3D creation is to use pretty high DE Stops and lower R Bailouts. I rendered this at 7400x3806.

Thanks to the people running the Mandelbulb Teaser group for letting me join. I am no serious artist by any measure. But I frequently have a gnawing desire to make something. Lately I have found myself very uninspired. I hope that the monthly challenges and deadlines will help spur my interest and creativity once again.
