Well, so far anyway...  I'm trying to decide if I'm coming down with some Con Crud or just suffering from some kind of allergy kicking in.  Either way, while I'm not perhaps 100%, I'm feeling pretty good about my experiences at the last of the BronyCons.  This was only my second convention, and my first attempt without the help of my dear friends in the community (at least, without them being present.  Good friends still help in many, many ways, from advice to support.)  I was pretty anxious about it, but thanks to the show's staff, the fellow vendors and my brother (who kicked in to help man the table at the last minute), and especially thanks to the many, many MLP fans in attendance who visited my little table tucked away into the far corner of the vending hall, it was a resoundingly positive experience.

For all of you folks that follow me on Deviant Art and happened to come up to me over the course of the convention, I really have to say it was such an absolute treat to hear from you!  I know that I'm not the best at small talk and I was more than a bit overwhelmed by everything, so please forgive me if I was disappointing in person in any way.  The last thing I would want to do is leave any of you with the impression that I was anything less than appreciative that you took the time to come and share some of your convention with me.  I'm still on an emotional high from the warm and wonderful feedback I was given about my artwork... your incredible support means the world to me and keeps me at it.  And to those generous enough to buy from my table (and some were extremely generous... I'm still blown away), I am very thankful.

I do feel bad for being such a recluse when I wasn't directly manning my booth in the vendor hall.  The creative side of the community is insanely supportive to each other, and so many wonderful people came by to check how I was doing and talk, and once again I was often too frazzled to be at my best.  I should have made more of an effort to get out there an visit others in return.  I do hope no one takes my failure to do so as a lack of interest or admiration for them.  I continue to be inspired by this community every day!

While this was the last of the BronyCons, and even though the show is ending soon, I want to reassure people that I don't have any plans to go anywhere.  I'm quite happy in this community of ours, and hope to keep sharing new works moving forward.  You all are the best!

I was healthy the whole con, the trip there and the trip back, and the *day* I'm back at work I get slugged with the whole sniffling/coughing/feeling terrible thing.  I blame you. Ok, no I don't. I had the most amazing time there, bought too much, ate too much, stayed up too late, and generally lived several years in the course of a few days.

I saw your booth on the final day, and wanted to buy several prints but you were swarmed by people so I didn't want to add myself to the fray. XD Although I didn't sell at bronycon, I was doing trades at one point and got swarmed by people left and right. That was intense for me, so I can't imagine what it was like for you.
But anyway: just wanted to say I love your art. I have for years now, and it was cool to kinda see you in person even if we didn't get to talk lol. :) Glad you had a good con!

Oh, so you visit cons.. any plans on visiting Germany next year? (Galacon 2020, 1st-2nd Aug, ~1100 visitors from all over Europe) :D

Conventions and especially vending can be super exhausting. I don't know how people survive that^^' It's especially taxing on an introvert.

I wish I bought more prints from yah.  it was so very crowded.  I can't believe this is the second con you've been to, thought you've been doing this for a while. What  was the first con you did?

I attended Everfree NW in 2018 thanks to WhiteDiamondsLTD and Late Customer’s generous help and support.  This was the first time trying this whole convention/vending thing on my own, but the experience from EFNW was invaluable.

Will you be going to any future conventions like Ponyville Ciderfest?  I wasn't able to grab a full size print of that great Sunset guitar piece before they sold out.  And I'm so glad you had a good time!

I feel certain that I will, but I don’t know which yet.  I figure Trotcon is likely because it’s a pretty short trip for me, all told.

Sorry that you missed the Sunset print!  There’s always guesswork in how many to order.

It was great meeting you in real life!
I'm sure this fandom will not stop thriving without the show if we have people like you to keep it running! Thank you!

Awesome to hear you had a good time there. Sadly it seems like I won't have a chance to meet you but your words about the fandom definitely ring true for me. I intend to stick around for a good while and have a ton of ideas to share. :>

I sure would have wanted to stop by that table but it was at the wrong side of the pond for me :D (Big Grin)

I guess it's not unusual to catch some kind of bug at your first con, since I too got a cold from mine - probably a combination of sleeping with a fan blowing too close to the bed and all that muck you have at airports, and other public spaces.

Oh yeah...  shaking hands, handling money, and just the sheer volume of people.  I’m surprised that I didn’t catch anything from my first con, but this has definitely resolved itself into a head cold.

Oh, sorry for not paying enough attention - it was indeed your second con overall, not first.

It was exhausting, and I practically limped back to my hotel room the first two days, but it was rewarding!

Hey! It was really nice to meet you (yes, I'm the same guy as fimfic). I really had been looking forward to at least shake your hand and I completely understand how you would feel overwhelmed. It was pretty crazy in there! I was not disappointed at all, and I hope we have a chance to talk again, under a perhaps less stressful environment.

Thanks!  I appreciated you stopping by in person, and it was great to meet the folks from FimFiction as well.
