So, my literary agent has advised me to try a bit of online self-publication to see if I can get my work out there as a sort of preview. I've already got a few offers, but I've been told to keep the market open for the time being because the type of book I've written is a very popular genre right now. So go ahead and take a look!
I figured I'd update my journal while I was here. I haven't updated it in months!!! Well, the pieces I did for the All City Highschool Art Showcase won some prizes!!!! I came in third place for the Eleanor Friedberg Foundation Scholarship, winning $1,500 and came in Second (Originally First) for the Art Institute/PTI scholarship with $250. I haven't drawn much lately, but that'll be changing quite soon, seeing as I have about five Christmas presents that need done for people. I've been really busy, having been finishing my book. Okay then, new update. Apparently, I have a fan club. Yes, a fan club. There are a few underclassmen girls that are a bit obsessed with me. And I mean obsessed. Three of them were the originals. We called them "The Bowling Balls". Two sisters and a bi-racial girl that used to annoy the hell out of me. They've calmed down, and I'm cool with the bi-racial chick, but they still kind of hope for their lives that I'll wave to them in the hall. Kinda scary. The other little clique that belongs to the fan club was actually just stan
