9/28/16- I found the gaps between Great Foal (20 points), Excellent Foal (30 points), Awesome Foal (50 points), and Amazing Foal (70 points) to be too uneven. So they have been edited as seen below. Horses that are already registered these ranks via the previous system (including current and graduated foals) will not loose their current/graduated rank. However, current horses will have to follow the new system to reach the next rank up. Changes have also been made to the points given out for a foals pedigree. Sire/Dam points have been changed from 3 to 2, and lineage past that has been changed from 2 to 1. Real Life pedigree has been changed from 1 point with a max of 5 to 0.5 points with a max of 7. Please edit your points calculations for current horses accordingly (again, if they are already ranked and this brings their score down, they will not loose their current rank).
10/24/14- Most of the old system has changed, so please re-count your foals points! These changes do not effect graduates, only foals and yearlings that are still registered now. All ranked foals have been placed back to the unranked foals folder, their ranks removed from the journals as well (eventually). Once the proper changes have been made, and your horse has a rank by the new system, send a note to the group with proof of the rank, and we will move your foals reference to the ranks folder and mark their rank in the journals accordingly.
REMEMBER! This system is only for foals and yearlings under 5 years old that are registered with this group!! Horses who were registered with our group, but are now 5 years old, are considered graduates harpgs-best-foals.deviantart.c… and no longer gain points from our system after graduation/turning 5 years old.These are the Levels/Ranks:

Head/Bust Shots - +2 points

Animations
These points stack on top of the original points you get for the drawing.
"Bobbing" animation (whole image of horse moves up and down) - +1
For small animations such as ear twitch, eye blink - +2 point
For animations that feature head, leg, tail, mane movement - +5 points
For full body animations - +10 points
Any animations that are not the horse (for example, snowfall, lightning, etc, - +1 point
Animation points do not stack.
Art done by others
Points rewarded for Images drawn by other people are as follows:
Take whatever the points would be if you had drawn it (above) and subtract -1 point
For example, a head shot is worth +1 point if drawn by a different person who has never owned the foal.If image is a collab, it counts as full points.
Colored linearts still count for +0.5 no matter if it was done by you or someone else.
Competition placings
Champion,Reserve or best in show/judges choice - +10 points
For placing 1st. +5 points

Registrations
