Rustland Crash is kind of like Biker Crash, but more edgier and post-apocalyptic themed. He's kind of like a rebellious action hero and all that! It's probably the only skin where his victory animation achknowledges Crash's trademark tornado spin move, topping it all off with a pose as fire rises up from behind him. THAT is an instant win in my book. This is why his Rustland skin is one of my favorite Crash skins... oh heck, I love all of his skins. What can you expect from a Crash & Coco fangirl?

It's no surprise that Rustland Coco is another one of my favorite skins from the game. She's got a neat style to fit with the post-apocalyptic theme of the Grand Prix itself. And she's got a new hairstyle and color dye, bonus! I can imagine her teaming up with Rustland Nina despite having a clear rivalry between the two girls as they set out to survive in the vast deserts of Rustland with paint mines all over the place. Her victory animation sees her run around in circles before dropping her smartphone and kicking it away. She's got some serious anger issues!

The background is Megamix Mania, a desert valley that is set after the end of the world; having sections of Roo's Tubes and even N. Gin's battleship from Crash Twinsanity in utter ruins, even having graffiti around as well as a Crash statue that may or may not be a reference to Planet of the Apes. The track is named after the aponymous monster that made his debut from the first GBA Crash game, Megamix. An amalgamation of Dingodile, N. Gin, Tiny and Cortex combined together and having a messed up body with multiple voices taking over. Here, he was created from toxic wastes found all over the track, instead of a malfunctioning shrink ray. Better stay on your toes if you ever want to survive in Rustland.
