Tablet Troubles Revisited.

Tablet Troubles Revisited.

In my last post I was griping about how I was tired of my tablet, and that I didn't like using it anymore. Unfortunately, since that last post I managed to lose my tablet pen, and the only thing worse than trying to draw with crappy results is not being able to draw at all. I suppose if I don't find it in the next four days (I'm going out of state back to college) I'll just have to buy a replacement for THIRTY dollars. T_T I guess I should be thankful that I can even afford it. In almost unrelated news I recently picked up a cheap-o sketchbook (my favorite kind) from Walgreens so I've been sketching away with my sexy new Black Warriors. Meow

Tablet Troubles.

Tablet Troubles.

Don't get me wrong, my tablet works fine. I'm just really tired of using it. Especially with Photoshop. Ugh. It's like looking at food when your stomach hurts. I'm still pretty good with Illustrator, but I think I've come to this point where I can't consistently reproduce drawings as easily as I can with pencil or pen, and I just can't muster the patience to sketch layer after layer until I like what I see. Which is really my biggest flaw as an artist: I'm too darn lazy to actually do anything more than a doodle.

Reboot.

Reboot.

I finally got around to formatting Milo (my partner in crime in the strictest sense) and so I can finally get around to reinstalling Photoshop and my tablet drivers and hopefully resume Deviating. I plan on getting Illustrator soon and Milo and I are feeling excited about the idea of vectors. Indeed, indeed.
