Project Educate:Icons & Handhelds Week - Introduction of the gallery.
This week of Project Educate will be all about the thrilling world of icons, avatars and handheld-customization. but first things first.
What are "icons" and "handhelds"?
Customization > Icons
Customization > icons is a category which largely encompasses two different icon-types:
- The avatars you use on your online-profile, like deviantART-avatars, can be found in the subcategory customization > icons > avatars.
- The other category offers icons that can be used to replace the default desktop-icons and can be found under the subcategory of dock-icons or OS-icons.
Handhelds
Customization > handhelds offers just about everything you could need to customize your handheld-devices.
From your iPod to your cellphone to your PSP and so much more, this gallery simply has it all when you're looking for something neat and new.

Week-long Icon-contest
The objective
Create an amazing free to use icon or handheld-theme under the theme "SPRING".
The rules
- Entries must be NEW.
- For handheld-themes, all resources should be properly credited.
- To enter, send me a note with your entry.
Deadline
The contest will run from February 27th until March 4th.
Winners will be announced March 5th.

Icons & Handhelds Critique-night
During the Project Educate-event, there will also be an Icons & Handhelds critique-night on Thursday, 1st of March, at 7 pm (GMT +1)!
