As for the neck and nose, this is actually referenced rather closely from a picture. Were I to draw without reference, his neck would definitely be thinner and the nose longer, but it's part of making him look, well, like himself. Also I think the fact his head is slightly tilted downwards makes his neck look thick, or his jaw/chin look short, and I preferred him to be looking down/thoughtful, rather than look up/alert/proud.
