Rules

  • AI artwork is not allowed. The artwork must be new and drawn by you.

  • Draw any close up part of the body: head, muzzle, eye, ears, legs, tail, etc (keep it appropriate please). You are welcome to draw more/up to full body, but your horses placement will not be impacted.

  • Backgrounds and shading are not required. You are welcome to draw a bg and/or shade your image, but your horses placement will not be impacted.

  • Once all spaces in a class fill up, it will be judged and a set of new slots will be opened up

  • At the end of each month, if a class has entries but has not yet been filled, I will enter GHOST HORSES in the empty slots and roll the results.

  • Entries are judged 100% by Random.org.

  • You may enter your horse in a single class ONCE, but as many classes as you want (for example, I would only be able to enter my horse in Halter once, but I could also enter that horse into Liberty, Driving, and Racing until that Halter class is judged, then I can enter that horse in Halter again)

  • A link to the horses reference and a link to this show must be in the artists description of the show image.

  • You are required to give proper credit (clickable link) to any reference material used in the artists description. If no refs were used, please indicate 'no refs used,' or 'personal stock used' if that happens to be the case.

  • USD mentioned in prizes is fake/not real, and is for your horses story purposes.

Updates:

10/5/25 - Flat Racing (Synthetic track) has been added!

10/5/24 - Team style Driving has been added! Please be sure to include either 2 or 4 horses in your image to compete together as a team. Working Western Rail has also been added!

5/26/23 - From now on, "leftover judging" will take place at the beginning of each month. Meaning, if a class gets 3 entries it will run and be judged immediately. However, at the beginning of each month, if a class has less than 3 entries, I will fill the class with GHOST HORSES and run the RNG. That way entries won't sit too long without being filled <3
5/19/22 - Horse Pulling has been added!
2/6/18 - Puissance , Coon Jumping , Mule Jumping , Trail, and Free Jumping have been added!
1/24/18 - Working Equitation has been added!
10/21/16 - Steeplechase and Harness Racing has been added!
8/11/15 - Drag Hunting has been added!
7/6/15 - Western Pleasure, Haute Ecole , Saddleseat, Jousting, Mounted Shooting/Archery, Vaulting, Polo and Trick has been added!
6/13/15 - I have changed this show so instead of 5 slots in each class, I am changing it to only 3 slots in each class.. Now, everyone who enters gets a prize!

Coon Jumping

for donkeys and mules only
The donkey or mule has to come to a complete stop for at least one second after stepping inside a box (drawn either 10 or 12 feet in front of the jump, depending on the size of the donkey or mule). If the donkey or mule steps out of the box or knocks the jump, it is eliminated. It has 45 seconds or 3 attempts to make the jump. The jump may or may not be blanketed (up to artist), and must include unfixed (aka movable/able to be knocked down) wooden poles (design is up to artist).
After all the donkeys and mules in the class have jumped (or have attempted to jump) the jump is raised 2 inches. The donkey or mule clearing the highest jumps wins the class.
