He inherited his dams confidence, his sires kind eyes, and both of their determination. He followed suit with his parents nerve-racking closing racing style, often leaving him a dirty mess by the time he crosses the wire. He is a hot horse who loves to prance and never seems to tire, always eager to let out his energy. He can be hard to handle when he gets too excited, and in those moments seems to lose focus. But once he focuses on something he becomes very determined and gives it his all. He has been friends with the spunky feline Nyra since birth. Ōkami has a swanlike neck, and a naturally high head carriage like his dam, and likewise has bouncy, prancing gates. His legs might as well be springs! He raced flat from 2YO-5YO, amassing an impressive record of 22 1st place wins and three 2nd place wins over 25 starts, and retired with over $25 Million in earnings! As a 6YO he began training for Steeplechase and opened to the public for breeding (having been offered only for private breedings before, resulting in 5 foals to that point).
