Design Notes: This girl was from a breeding in 2012 and was designed in 2013. Back then I didn't know much about genetics so I designed her as a flaxen bay. I even threw in a random huge birthmark on her chest. Fast forward to 2016 and I sat pondering on how I could make her design work nowadays. So I decided that the birthmark would actually be the chestnut chimera showing through (it is a darker shade than her bay coat), and that the flaxen mane and tail would be part of the chestnut chimera aspect (she will have a very thin part of the chestnut coat along the crest of her neck and base of her tail, enough to affect her mane and tail). I think it works out alright so that is what I am rolling with!
