The staff at WBS were becoming impatient. Ovie was a gorgous mare with a lovely temperment despite her skittish nature. Sadly, when it came to Halter compititions, she lived up to her name. As a two year old, Ovie had placed second to last in both the two events she had entered. And the results from her first event as a three year old were pending. If she placed as poorly as she did in her two year old career, the staff may have to retire her much earlier than intended as a Halter horse. They wouldnt let her go though, Ovie was such a sweetheart. She would probibly just retire to brood after the appropriate age. But having her sit around and collect dust until then didnt really make anyone feel good. So they would wait and see. So as Ovie and her handler stepped into the ring, everyone from WBS crossed their fingers. They werent expecting a place with her like they were with Letto, but anything better than her previous placings would set their minds at ease... And Ovie began to dance with fluid movements, like she were floating in air. Her neck was delecate, her tail lightly bannered. Balloons were released to celebrate the new year. It was a new year, and hopefully it would be a good one for Ovie.
