Other: Koi is a shy, timid mare that is submissive towards other horses, which can become problematic on the track, given her lack of competitiveness. These features tend to show most when she is in a larger group of horses. In smaller groups, she is lively and playful, and has very spirited gaits.

She ran flat from 2-3YO, and was retired as a 4YO. She was given years off to raise some foals before she began retraining for XC at around 10YO. She has taken nicely to jumping, it has seemingly instilled some confidence in her and she seems to enjoy the trails!
