Dallas had been waiting for the day when she could finally ride her mare for the first time. Three years old, and til this day Ghost had only ever been ridden by her jockey Abhijat Devar. Dallas was Ghosts owner and trainer, and had been anticipating the day when she could finally climb atop her beloved mare. And what better setting than the beach? She had to get used to Ghost quickly, as the race they were entering together was a bareback race, so she would not have the security of a saddle for long.
