WBS Ghost Hour wasn't feeling it the day of the race. She seemed sluggish and uninterested unlike usual. After a vet inspection she was given the okay to race, and Dallas decided to continue as planned. The race began as usual with Ghost lingering at the back of the pack before slowly pushing herself up in placings. She was head to head with the leader when GV ~ Show Me Love kicked into a new gear and shot off. Abhijat anticipated Ghost to fight back and make a game out of the remainder of the race but she did just the opposite- she began to slow. After the race, the jockey untacked the mare and stoked her neck, "Just an off day, huh? That's alright."
