The Barrel Racing was coming to an end when, as was deaded though highly expected, it began to rain from no where. People, in fear of having wet horses to compete with, seeked out shelter in the indoor arena. The show was to continue, but in the dry indoors.

In her last competition with Player, Jen and the stallion took the title Grand Champion, and reeked the benefits thereof. And though she did plan on stealing a title in this show with Player, she got to thinking about her serious neglect for her favorite (a title that was now seeming in question). However, with her working so much with the big flash Player, she found she was neglecting her first and most loved boy, Slinger. The stallion was going to be 12 soon, and she had let his show career slip away in the years of owning her new star stallion, replacing one star with another.

The spotlight had been on the dominating Player for long enough, Jen decided, and she brought Slinger along to compete in hopes of renewing his popularity. And as soon as they entered the ring, she knew that special place in her heart had opened up to the Grulla once again.
