White Blood Stables Winter Races 

Ghost was more excited than usual leading up to this race. It was on her home track, so the track and grounds were familiar, and although the snow always excited her, something else was going on in that little crazy brain of hers. It was almost like she was greeting everyone to her track, saying come this way, welcome!, hi how are you, good luck today, don't you just love the snow?, I hope you have fun today, etc. The white filly was very vocal today, and was ecstatic to be around so many new faces, all visiting her track. She was bobbing her head, pacing, chomping at the bit, all in protest to go socialize with the others. Some of which would probably hurt her if she tried.. Not all horses were as bubbly and kind as she was.
Loading into the gate was a breeze as always. In the gate Ghost tried to peek into the box next to her, #2 where OE Twilight Zone was supposed to be stationed, to give some words of encouragement to the horse inside. However, the gate was empty as the stallion had been scratched from the race, and Ghost's spirits were lowered a little bit that there was so much as an empty box in between her and the other horses.
There was no time to pout as the bell rang and the thoroughbreds and thoroughbred crosses leaped out into the snow, charging forward. The horses kicked up snow in every which way, causing walls of white in between each horse and jockey and the next. Vision was not optimal with all the snow flying up at the horses that were running behind the others, but Ghost got a good enough start to be able to stay ahead for the most part. Milk And Other Sweets, number 11 on the field, made his way to match Ghosts pace, and the two lightly colored horses galloping side by side, flanked by horses of all colors, made for quite a surreal view. Snow was being tossed in the air several feet above jockeys heads, and colors of horses could be seen peeking out from behind the kicked up snow. It was as if the track was suddenly a winter rainbow, with a mixture of snow and brilliant athletes plowing down the track like individual locomotives.
Spectators cheered and clapped, whooped and hollard, all eagerly awaiting the outcome of the race.

Wow, can I say that I LOVE how Twilight's shading came out?!
I did his last, and tried something new, but I think it came out the best out of the three by far!

First of all I would like to thank EVERYONE who participated in this show! I am very happy with the turn out, and look forward to our next Winter Races show in December! (Announcements will be made for it in November, it will run in December) I really hope to see you guys come back at a second shot for winning, or at a shot to hold onto your title!
By my stables aging system (4 irl months = 1 in game year), December is an in-game year away from right now. So if you enter in December and win again, think of it as your horse won 2 years in a row!

First things first, though, is the numbers. There are a list of numbers after each horse that represents their score so you can see where your strong and we 1st Place! Won by 4 lengths
