The Genetics Behind Pure Thoroughbred Colors

:bulletpurple: Purebred Frame Overo Thoroughbreds: Fillipas Puzzle , Blue Eyed Streaker , Koda Chrome , more can be found here.

:star: Please note that "Coon Face" is determined by the patches of white missing around the eye or eye and cheek area combined. Example

:star: Sabino has it's own version of "Coon Faces" commonly seen on Arabians and Clydesdales: Arabian Example , Clydesdale Example But it can also be found in Dominant White/White Spotting in thoroughbreds: Thoroughbred Example and various other breeds that display W.

:star: While crossing the topline is generally not typical of Frame Overo, it is very rarely possible. See Koda Chrome.

"Extensive Frame Overo" can occur when the horse has the Overo gene alongside one or two copies of W20. Examples:
Drawn Example Most of the neck (though never the full neck) and a generous portion of the topline (though never fully) can be white, meaning that white can cross the topline in this instance. However, all four legs will never be fully white.
Real life examples include He's Ebony And Ivory (TWH Stallion), Gotta Wear Shades (APH Stallion), and Paint Us A Picture (Tb Stallion, extensive neck white and white crossing withers better seen here). Silvery Moon (Tb Stallion) could also be considered an "Extensive Frame Overo" (other side here).
