I spent a few weeks just trying to get through it.. Totally lost my motivation, but it came out so good! I am happy <3
I really tried to go all out with this entry.. Dont expect this quality art from me all the time
I am trying to get Grand Campion title for Doubie, and Reserve Champion for Alcoholic! Crossing my fingers

Tamitha was uncontrollably excited for the Western Pleasure class at Mountainview's 3rd Annual Horse Show. They had already competed in several classes, but this one was the one she had been waiting for. She got dressed in her sparkling shirt, feeling the cloth with her fingertips, admiring its silky texture. Her hair would be the hardest part- fixing her short wisps into a collected bun.. she didn't know if she had enough hair for a bun, but with some bobby pins and patience, she made it work- to her own surprise.
Jennifer was just going through the motions like they were second nature to her. She had entered Western Pleasure classes countless times, and the only new thing about this time around was her mount. Slinger was her first project horse, but he was more of a Gaming horse and less of a Pleasure horse. Player was her personal mount of choice, an All-Around Western horse. Together they had won Grand and Reserve Champion titles, and she was ready to give the big gelding a rest while she worked on his son, Alcoholic, her mount for todays show. She finished getting ready in a casual, mechanical sort of way, and headed out to tack up.
Tamitha was walking her stallion to the trailer to tack up and saw Jennifer already there, her stallion already brushed, tacked up and ready to go. Had she really taken that much time getting ready? Tammy bit her lip and got a little nervous about time, feeling a tug at her stomach. She quickly got her stud tied up and speed-brushed him. As she was going into the tack department of the trailer, she paused when she grabbed her saddle. It was a new saddle to her. She had trained on it, and baught it lightly used, but it was still new to her. The leather still creaked and groaned, and was stiff. She ran her thumb over the silver plates on the pommel, lost in thought. It was a beautiful saddle, deserving of admiration. Tammy was forced back into reality when she heard Jen calling for her to get a move on.
When she approached Doubie with the saddle, he turned his neck to the side to touch it with his nose, the skin on his neck rippling as he flexed his neck to its limit to get a good look at what his rider was holding. Once he realized it was the Western saddle, he bloated his belly up and pinned his ears, trying to get the pommel inbetween his teeth. Tammy corrected him and saddled up, "I know this saddle is heavier than the ones you are used to, but you will only be wearing it for a little while, dont be a baby.." Tammy smacked his stomach a few times to try to get him to let out some air so she could tighten the girth, but he wasnt giving. So she untied him from the trailer and walked him around a bit, getting his mind of things. As soon as she stopped him, she was able to tighten the girth several inches, and was good to go. Doubie grunted in protest, but didnt otherwise show discomfort or put up a fight. He knew he had work to do, and he was willing to do it.. even if this saddle was heavier than the rest.
Tammy didnt notice, but soon as she entered the ring, her neat little bun was completely undone. She was too excited to notice.
