VERY happy with how this background came out
I went out of my comfort zone and I think it came out exactly how I visioned it. Proud of myself here

In the hustle and bustle of the race day environment, WBS If I Was A Rich Man didn't waste a moment trying to draw attention to himself. Because the world revolves around him, right? He pranced to and fro, showing off for the mares and flaunting his physique to his fellow competitors. Through his frantic attempts at indulging himself in his narcissistic actions, he seemed to have some consideration for his handlers, though, being careful not to completely trample their fleshy little toes. He caught sight of Rosemary Black, a chestnut mare who was being dreamily calm and cooperative with her handlers, standing with a low, relaxed head as they tacked her up. She was too busy relaxing to notice the attempted flirtations from afar by the frazzled colt. HTS Tapping Into Love was being led towards her trailer to be tacked up. Rich Man raised his tail and called to her but she just swished her tail and looked the other way towards Smith & Wesson, a dark bay colt. Snorting and shaking his head, Rich Man didn't give up- calling out to every mare that came in his field of vision, completely distracted by his frantic handlers attempting to tack him up- and before he knew it, the seal bay colt had his jockey on his back and was headed out to work.

WBS Don't Play Koi With Me danced around as she was led to the tacking area. The whole atmosphere was filled with people hustling and bustling, zipping from trailers to horses and from here to there. The utter chaos of the scene had Koi in a frenzy of excitement, whinnying and stepping all over the place with rather disregard of her handlers. Her head was high, ears alert and swiveling every which way. Crowds and the overall buzz of race days made the mare quite nervous every time. Koi didn't have the best disposition, she was a mare that was flighty and submissive to any and everyone- on and off the track. They had troubles trying to get her to find her confidence, but the task was harder said than done. WBS Staff had 3 horses racing in the 2016 WBS White Blood Summer Maiden Mile today, as well as Ghost entering the Senior Race later on in the day. But for now they had 3 different horses to worry about. Thankfully, Cloud wasn't giving them as much trouble as Koi and Rich Man were. They managed to get Koi tacked up and sent her off to the loading gates quickly as possible. This was a fight in itself, since she didn't like being so trapped next to other horses, but they managed to get her in first, which was good. If she got in before the other horses were already in, it was always less of a fight. However, as more and more horses flooded the starting gates, Kois owner and Jockey Storm Ducati could tell that the chimera filly was beyond stressed. This was always the hardest part of the race day for the filly, but luckily it tended to not last too long. All the other horses loaded up nicely, and not long after the gates opened, offering Koi the sweet freedom that she demanded.

The striking Appaloosa Thoroughbred cross was led to a tacking area, and having a level head, went cooperatively. WBS Clouded Judgement hadn't had the best track record, but there was always time and room for improvement and he was always willing to run and learn, which was always a plus. His perticular cross was a favorite of WBS- purposefully bred for an athletic thoroughbred build with wild and fun appaloosa markings, and they were happy when they were able to breed a Snowcap Apppy Thoroughbred. With his genetics, all of his foals would be some sort of Appaloosa pattern, carrying on the trend of loudly marked Thoroughbred crosses. WBS Clouded Judgement had looks and the temperament enough to win the heart of anyone, but his track record was another category all together. With some work, they were hoping to get him some wins and draw more attention to their crossbred jewel.
