I always know I'll regret breaking a controller/consoles. So I refrain from throwing it / extreme button mashing, analog stick usage.
In Spyro1 game on PS2, there was this controller glitch where during gamelpay If you hold the analog stick 90 degrees up/left/right/down Spyro walks no matter how far you push the stick forward. BUT if you tilt the stick diagonally Spyro runs.
THAT made my sister annoyed, she was on the last level where you can't glide to the next platform unless you do a running start. So she just ended up continuously walking off the edge and dying over and over.
I think that glitch happens if you hold the analog stick while the game is in loading screen or something...I dunno
I played Megaman x7. I were up for 2nd boss. (can't remember name.) I died, oh how many times, I jumped up from coach and slamed my dear PS2 controller to ground. After that I changed stage and beat that. Never played MMx7 since..... *looks at poor PS2*
