I play video games like crazy, and hardly any are multiplayer ones. I prefer RPGs that I play all by myself lol. I think Journey is the only one I've played within the last year or more than involves another player.
aside from Gran tursimo 5 the games you play don't really have much to offer in terms of online play, so that makes sense. if you got something like Mod Nation Racers or LBP though (the former of which I would highly recommend since you could to turn your OC's into kart racers) they'd be almost pointless without online connectivity since they're all about user-generated content..
as for me I generally go online when games allow it. the only games I entirely avoid online play though are fighting games (and I've already explained my reasoning behind that before). PS All-Stars is an exception because you usually end up with pretty balanced fights, but I otherwise I don't even bother
ugh, I hate the vita version of MNR, the freaking PSP version is better which is sad on so many levels
the vita version has two fatal flaws, for one, IT HAS NO LIVE ONLINE MULTIPLAYER RACING WHATSOEVER, you can only race by yourself or against freaking ghosts which is lame. if the PSP version could do that why the HELL can't the vita version? online multiplayer racing is the absolute best aspect of the game, it's when you can show off your track creations in a hectic, fast paced awesome race with a home-field advantage of knowing every shortcut and trap, as well as having it memorized to a T. the Vita version has none of that for reason I can not comprehend.
another problem is that despite having EVERY single customizable part from the PS3 version, you can't bring any creations you've made on the PS3 over to the vita version. that's something I could understand with the PSP version but the Vita has more advanced sync technology and I'm sure it could have handled it. given that nothing I make in the game will carry over to the version I play more, like why bother? If the game suffered one of these 2 problems I'd still say it'd be worth it but with BOTH I'd say get the PS3 version and never look back
but yeah, you could probably make something at least resembling you're OC's rather easily. it's really hard and time consuming to make good mod-dudes but some people are really good at it and make amazing ones that look exactly like what they're suppose to, everything from celebrities, historical figures, game characters, anime characters, TV/movie characters, you name it. I'm sure Saber for instance has been done a million times...
=0 yeah I've had experiences like that, if I used the same character or the other player hadnt unlocked that character yet they'd boot me out. Sometimes online I've had people on the same team kill me or if I'm doin the online missions they interfere and kill me
