Hello
hi happy easter
Thank you, to you as well
thanks...how is the drawing going? only for curiosity
I'm currently trying out a few different techniques I stumbled across in the past weeks, to advance my own style and draw more like I want to and not what I'm currently capable of.
Also, as my renovations are more and more coming along, I'm trying out new methods for my workflow, because I noticed, that I sometimes get demotivated. There are also other things in art that I really want to push a little bit besides Portraits. Since i'm studying Game Design, Character Design is also somewhat on my focus, so I made myself a little easter present by scripting a few characters I plan to do as adopts. I dabbled a little bit with adopts quite some time ago, but never that successful. So, with my studies in Game Design I now put them into a world, (I guess you could say they'd be OCs or whatever), gave them names, nationalities, jobs. Still, they have a lot to fill in for whoever adopts them. They'll be settled in the Overwatch world, which is a game I used to like and play, but not anymore since I heard more and more negative things about Overwatch 2 and I kept having technical problems where the support couldn't help. Anyway, I still like the story and characters behind it. So I thought, I always struggle with futuristic themes. And thus, I started creating a few characters within that. I guess, you could call them "Breedables", if you are familiar with this term. It is a form of adopts, where people usually post a template first, the top row full with characters and so is the first coloumn. Usually people can reserve slots on it and then have that mix, even if it is not clear how it will turn out. I differed a little in that. First, I used human characters, not animals or whatever. I also did not make the exact same character alignment for the row and the coloumn, but rather parted them in male and female, so as if they were a shipped pairing. Also, for each crossing I randomly chose to do 1 to 6 male and 1 to 6 female variations of it, to pose a little challenge. I'm thrilled to see how it will turn out. First, the futuristic style with weapons and stuff is way out of my comfort zone, but it could be benificial for a career of some sort. Also, it could be fun to learn it. Second, the mixture of the genes of these characters, that is a theme that always fascinates me. And third, I wonder if anybody will be interested in adopting one. Anyway, I think I might be writing a little bit much. What do you think about it?
Hihow are you today?
A bit busy, but otherwise good, thank you. What about you ?
